Kavya's POV
The next day
I was heading downstairs to get water. "Ohh!! I should ask the househelp to clean it or someone might get hurt" I mumbled to myself
I was heading to my room when I saw mom and Chaya coming." Noo" my eyes widened as I saw her near the step where oil was.
I ran toward her while screaming " MOM ,nooo!!!! Stop there!!!" I pushed her with force before she could step on it . The impact of push was so strong that we both fell with a great thud.
I terribly pain shooted in my head and made my vision blur. " ahhhh!!! My head" I groaned in pain.
Everyone started gathering there. Everyone ran toward mom to lift her. I felt pain in my back , I tried to call them but no one heard . Kavya ,shh!! Calm down and get up ." Ahhh" I groaned again as my head felt like blasting .
Chaya took furious steps toward me causing me to step back " You did it right ?you dropped the oil on floor so, someone could get hurt and you could help them" she screamed on my face causing me to tremble.
"Noo!" I shook my head in denial." Noo!! Why would I do that?"
She grabbed my arm and yanked me forward " yes ,you did it. You did it to get everyone's attention and love , you pulled this stunt and want to be a hero infront of everyone". She exclaimed.
" how could you do this Kavya? I never thought you could steep so low" Priya responded ,her eyes were filled with disgust for me.
I steped toward her and tried to explain myself" No Priya, believe me . I can never do such things, trust me. Infact,I saved mom from such a major accident".
"That's the thing Kavya, first of all you had dropped oil and now you saved mom to appear innocent and get everyone's love back" she shouted
" And even we can believe that you haven't done this then, why haven't you saved me. Look at my elbows, they are bleeding. I was there with mom too, why haven't you saved me ? I could have got hurt too. Tell us Kavya, tell us." She exclaimed while showing her elbow.
" I...I " I was speechless, I didn't even noticed her all I could see was mom , who could have got hurt. And about Chaya, she didn't even steped on the oil nor she fell then, how is her elbow bleeding?
Dad growled angrily, I have never seen him this angry. His eyes red and he was gritting his teeth. " how could you steep so low Kavya, didn't you knew, how dangerous it could be, GET OUT OF MY SIGHT BEFORE I LOSE MY CONTROL " he shouted in the end making me flinch visibly .
My eyes travelled to Chaya and I saw her smirking, she gave me a look of pity and mouthed" tsk...tsk , little weak girl".
She did it, why?
Tears travelled down my eyes like a stream in monsoon. I ran to my room unable to bear the humiliation.
My head hurts like hell. "Ahhh" I groaned in pain . Suddenly the door opened slowly and Kartik entered. I immediately wiped my tears and added.
" what are you doing here? Are you here to increase my pain?"
His response shocked me. How could he say that I was over reacting. I felt a tightning in my chest , I feel suffocating.
I was about to collapse, then, I felt a hand sneak around my waist, holding me securely.I slowly opened my eyes, gazing into those beautiful brown eyes that captivated me .
There was something in those eyes- pity, care or may be something else, I couldn't understand.
He pulled me closer. I inhaled sharply. Our forehead were joined together, I gulped the lump in my throat.
"What are you doing?" I whispered with wide eyes. He lifted me suddenly making me gasp. I immediately held his shoulder for support.
" leave me !!! Put me down!!" I screamed and hitted his shoulder to free myself.
He kept me on bed , I tried to push him in anger. I gasped when he grabbed my both the wrist, twisting them behind my back and pulled me closer.
I turned my head to other side while his breath was hitting my neck making me nervous. We were insenly close, so close that even the air could not pass between us.
" shhh!! Be quite.... let me treat the wound in your head" he whispered in my ear slowly bitting them.
"Ah!" I moaned in low pitch.
I pushed him a little, creating distance between us." No need, I am okay. I don't need your fake care" I replied and gritted my teeth.
He glared me giving me goosebumps.
He took the cream ,his fingers working delicately on my wound. I took the painkiller and sleeping pill. " ahhh" I groaned as I felt his whole weight on me. I felt my pendent getting pulled, his button got tangled with my pendent. I was busy removing it and I looked up only to witness his gaze on my lips.
I felt his grasping my cheeks softly ,he moved a inch closer to me. There is something happening, I felt something twisting inside my stomach. Before I could react, I felt his lips colliding with mine. I closed my eyes unable to understand what is wrong or right. I kissed him back losing myself in his arms. His tongue fighting for dominance making me breathless. He pulled me closer by holding my waist as I wrapped my arms around his neck. I felt my lips being pulled. "ahh!!!" I moaned inside his mouth as he bitted my lips harshly .
Soon the realization hitted me and I pushed him away harshly . "aaaaaa!! why the hell did you broke the kiss" He shouted like a crazy man. " Don't you ever dare to touch me ,don't come near me again" I spoke while glaring at him.
He slammed me into the wall and pinned me. " what do you think of yourself? Hhuuh!! As I don't know that you are craving for my touch. Look at you being like a desperate sl*t for my touch ,and now you are pushing g me away trying to be innocent". He grabbed my jaw tightly and spatted poison.
"And after doing this drama you think will get pity. Noo!!! , I won't touch, If I will do your worth will increase. I will not touch a characterless girl like you" He pushed me and went out of the room.
