I felt sunlight falling on my face. I wiggled my eyes to escape the ray but failed. The soft yet cheerful chirping of bird soothed my soul.
My eyes travelled to the clock. What the hell, its 8 already.I woke up immediately and got fresh to go down .
I ran to kitchen to prepare the breakfast cause he hates the food made by maids. How stupied of you Kavya. He doesn't give a fu*k about me and I am here crazy for him.
I heard footsteps approaching the kitchen. I lifted my eyelashes softly to witness the most beautiful thing. I clutchered the counter tightly as his manly mist hitted my nostrils.
I saw him stepping down the stairs in the same aura that made my heart beat like crazy. The same appearance that is my weakness. Those beautiful long eyelashes that hided his ethereal dark
eyes. Those plumpy and juicy lips moving everytime he released a soft breath . Even the breath is lucky to touch his lips that I couldn't do till now.
My chain of thoughts got broken as I heard his voice" Had you seen my red file, I can't find it".
" It might be in the cupboard" I replied while avoiding eye contact because he held the power to make my heart flutter.
"I can't find it, last time I gave it to you to keep it safely and I need it right now" he replied with a tint of frustration in his tone.
You can ....look in the cupboard, it.. will be there" I replied slowly.
"Kavya I need it right now ,search it for me and give it to me. NOW" he shouted in the end making me tremble
I hurriedly entered his room but the scene before me made my heart squeeze in unbearable pieces. A tear rolled down my eyes but I was quick enough to conceal it .
I opened the cupboard and started searching for the file. After searching for it for a few moment I got it . I kept it in the bed and started going out but his voice made me froze " fix this broken button of my shirt"
I inhaled shaply and replied" I won't"
His next word made me shiver visibly "did you forgot the thing I told you last night? I think you did ,so let me remind you. If you love her make sure you never disobey me"
I took out thread and button from the drawer and stook small steps toward me. Its okay Kavya, you can do it. You have to just fix a button and nothing else. Be calm. I reassured myself and went near him.
I tip toed because of his tall height, I was fixing the button then I felt my toe bending a little causing me to lose my balance.
I closed my eyes as fear took over me . But I felt nothing and opened my eyes, I saw him holding me closely.
His hand wrapped around My waist keeping me secure . He pulled me more closer causing me to collide with his chest. Our lips were just inches apart.
His breath fanning over my lips , the closeness somehow made me breathless . His was leaning close but I pushed him and answered "it's done"
I heard Chaya shouting as I came out of the room "Why was this close to you? What was she doing here Kartik? "
" calm down my love, she was just fixing my broken button and nothing else" he replied trying to calm her down.
